Dr. Yannes Martinus Pasaribu, M.Sn was born in Bandung, January 29, 1963. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 1986. He obtained his Master's and Doctoral degrees in Design from Bandung Institute of Technology in 1996 and 2014 respectively. He has served as secretary and head of the Department of Design, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, ITB. Currently, besides being a permanent lecturer at the Product Design Study Program, ITB, he is also active as a member of the ITB Senate, the Expert Council of the Indonesian Product Design Study Program Forum, and a member of the advisory board at the ADPII (Alliance of Indonesian Industrial Product Designers) professional organization.
