Sekar Adita, S.Sn., M.Sn. is an academic and practitioner in the field of product design. She currently works as a lecturer at the Product Design Study Program, Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta. She obtained her Bachelor's degree at Sebelas Maret University and Master's degree at Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta. Since 2017, she has been exploring the field of product design, with expertise in interior design and sustainable innovative material development. These include bio leather from soybean, cassava peel waste, and cigarette filter waste. Outside of her role as a lecturer, she serves as the Chairperson of the Yogyakarta-Central Java Regional Representative Council of the Alliance of Indonesian Industrial Product Designers (ADPII) and actively works as a design consultant. Her contribution to the design world is reflected through her involvement in various academic seminars, product exhibitions, and design community development, as well as her dedication in supporting sustainable innovation and local economic development through mentoring and developing local resources.
