Dr. Guguh Sujatmiko, S.T., M.Ds. is an Indonesian designer, academic, and design theorist who has contributed to the development of character design, visual storytelling, and creative industries in Indonesia. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Product Design and Visual Communication at Sepuluh November Institute of Technology (ITS) Surabaya, then earned a Master's degree at Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), and a Doctorate degree from Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Denpasar. Currently, he is the Head of Product Design Study Program at the Faculty of Creative Industries, University of Surabaya (UBAYA), as well as a design consultant. Guguh is known for his work in character design development of Panji stories from East Java and the creation of the theory of “Kridha Wicara Ayu,” which became a reference in character design and visual storytelling. He is currently active in the development of Indonesia's creative industry through various product design, visual communication design, graphic design, and illustration works.
