10. Penataan artistik dalam drama televisi “selibat” Dengan menghadirkan symbol

Abstract

TV drama with the title “Selibat” is a work of artcollege thesis “artistic arrangement in a television dramacelibate by presenting the symbol. This work tells the story of the struggle of a prospective pastor to live a celibate life calling.
Artistic backgrounds are important contributing embodied in this work by using the theory of symbols Suzanne K Langer in the form of symbols discursive and presentational symbols and the theory of signs in the form of indices, icons, symbols of Charles Sanders Pierce. Submission of the symbol would have the
meaning that can be easily recognized by the audience, especially Catholicsabout a celibate life and invites the audience especially its Catholic to thinkcarefully interpret the symbols. Moreover in this way the aesthetic value conveyed through
audio visual will be more attractive.
