ARS Jurnal Seni Rupa dan Desain p-ISSN 1829-7412 // e-ISSN 2580-7374, Fokus dan skop jurnal memuat dan menerima makalah atau artikel berupa naskah ilmiah populer tentang perkembangan pemikiran, pengetahuan, dan penciptaan seni rupa dan disain.
Para penulis artikel diwajibkan mengirimkan naskah secara on line dengan cara mengawali login dan register jurnal ARS.

Peer Review Process
Pra-tinjauan artikel dilakukan oleh tim editorial Ars: Jurnal Seni Rupa dan Desain untuk meninjau kesesuaian artikel dengan fokus dan ruang lingkup jurnal serta gaya jurnal dan pedoman penulisan tertentu. Pemeriksaan plagiarisme dilakukan dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Google Cendekia. Durasi ulasan antara 1-2 minggu.
Ulasan single-blind yang substansial dilakukan oleh setidaknya 2 pengulas. Durasi ulasan antara 3 minggu. Jika diinginkan, peninjau dapat meminta peninjauan kembali setelah penulis merevisi artikelnya.
Keputusan apakah artikel dapat diterbitkan diotorisasi oleh Pemimpin Redaksi dengan mempertimbangkan rekomendasi dari pengulas. Artikel yang telah diterima dan telah di-tata letak akan diterbitkan dalam masalah In Progress sebelum masalah reguler diterbitkan sesuai jadwal, sehingga dapat diindeks dan segera dicoba.

The article review was carried out by the Ars: Journal of Fine Arts and Design editorial team to review the suitability of the article with the focus and scope of the journal as well as the style of the journal and specific writing guidelines. Plagiarism checks are carried out using Google Scholar software. The duration of review is 1-2 weeks.
Substantial single-blind reviews were conducted by at least 2 reviewers. The duration of the review is between 3 weeks. If desired, the reviewer can request a review after the author has revised the article.
The decision whether the article can be published is authorized by the Editor in Chief by considering the recommendations of the reviewers. Articles that have been accepted and layout will be published in In Progress issues before regular issues are published according to schedule, so they can be indexed and tried immediately.

Publication Frequency
This journal is published 3 times a year, namely January, May, and September. Each edition contains 6 manuscripts of the results of studies, research and design.

This journal provides direct open access to content on the principle that conducting research freely available to the public supports greater global knowledge exchange.

Statement of Publication Ethics and Malpractice
Ars: Jurnal Seni Rupa dan Desain (p-ISSN: 1829-7412, e-2580-7374) is a peer-reviewed electronic journal. This statement clarifies the ethical behavior of all parties involved in publishing articles in this journal, including authors, editor-in-chiefs, Editorial Board, peer-reviewers and publishers (FSR ISI Yogyakarta). This statement is based on the COPE Best Practices Guidelines for Journal Editor.

Publication of articles in peer reviewed journals Ars: Jurnal Seni Rupa dan Desain, is an important building block in the development of a coherent and respected knowledge network. This is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. Articles reviewed by colleagues support and realize the scientific method. It is therefore important to agree on standards of expected ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing: authors, journal editors, peer reviewers, publishers, and the public.
Publisher's name as the publisher of the Ars: Jurnal Seni Rupa dan Desain, takes his trusty duties very seriously at all stages of publishing and we recognize our ethics and other responsibilities. We are committed to ensuring that advertisements, reprints, or other commercial revenues do not impact or influence editorial decisions. In addition, the Publisher Name and Editorial Board will assist in communication with other journals and / or publishers where this is useful and necessary.
Decision of publication
Editor of the Ars: Jurnal Seni Rupa dan Desain is responsible for deciding which articles to submit to journals should be published. The validation of the work in question and its importance for researchers and readers must always drive the decision. The editors can be guided by the policies of the journal editorial board and are limited by legal requirements that will apply regarding defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. The editor can negotiate with other editors or reviewers in making this decision.
Fair play
An editor at any time evaluates texts for their intellectual content regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the author.
Confidentiality
Any editor and editorial staff may not disclose any information about the manuscript sent to anyone other than the author concerned, reviewers, prospective reviewers, other editorial advisors, and publishers, as appropriate.
Disclosure and conflict of interest
Unpublished material that is disclosed in the text submitted may not be used in the research of the editor himself without written consent from the author.
Review Task
Contribution to Editorial Decisions Peer review helps the editor in making editorial decisions and through editorial communication with the author can also help the writer improve the paper.
Promptness
Speed Any selected referee who feels ineligible to review research reported in a manuscript or knows that a quick review is not possible must inform the editor and excuse himself from the review process.
Confidentiality Every text received for review must be treated as a confidential document. They may not be shown or discussed with anyone except as authorized by the editor.
Objectivity Standards
Reviews must be conducted objectively. Personal criticism of the writer is inappropriate. Referees must express their views clearly with supporting arguments. Source Recognition The reviewer must identify the relevant published work that has not been cited by the author.
Any statement that observations, derivations, or arguments have been reported before must be accompanied by relevant citations. The reviewer must also call the editor's attention to the substantial similarities or overlaps between the manuscripts being considered and any other published papers which have personal knowledge.
Disclosure and Conflict of Interest Information or special ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal gain.
Reviewers may not consider texts where they have a conflict of interest arising from competition, collaboration, or other relationships or connections with the authors, companies or institutions connected with the paper.
Author's Duties Reporting Standards
The author's report on the original research must present an accurate report of the work carried out as well as an objective discussion of its significance. The underlying data must be represented accurately in the paper. A paper must contain enough detail and references to allow others to replicate the work. False or intentionally inaccurate statements are included on the paper and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and have agreed to its submission for publication.
Hazards and Human or Animal Subjects
If the work involves chemicals, human, animals, procedures or equipment that have any unusual hazards inherent in their use, the author must clearly identify these in the manuscript.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
All authors should disclose in their manuscript any financial or another substantive conflict of interest that might be construed to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support for the project should be disclosed.
Fundamental errors in published works
When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his/her own published work, it is the author’s obligation to promptly notify the journal editor or publisher and cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper.
