Kreativitas Pertunjukan Musik dalam Perspektif Bergsonian
Abstract
Penelitian fenomenologi ini mengulas aspek kreativitas pada pertunjukan musik klasik dari perspektif Bergsonian (dan juga Deleuzian). Masalah yang coba dijawab adalah hubungan antara repetisi (praktik dengan tradisi yang berulang) dengan kreativitas (kebaruan yang diproduksi dari praktik yang berulang tersebut). Data penelitian diambil melalui wawancara dengan tiga musisi klasik (pianis Ary Sutedja, gitaris Royke Koapaha, dan dirigen Adrian Prabawa). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik repetisi berdampak pada tiga model pengalaman: repetisi sebagai cara membangun secure, repetisi sebagai kondisi pengalaman yang bergerak diantara dua tendensi, serta pengalaman sensasi. Dari temuan data dapat didiskusikan bahwa repetisi hanya bisa menghadirkan kebaruan sejauh melibatkan intensifikasi sehingga bisa menggeser kesadaran orang dari satu teritori pengalaman ke teritori pengalaman baru. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa musik, sejauh melibatkan praktik intensifikasi, dapat dilihat sebagai praktik pengembangan kedirian dalam arti, bisa membuat orang mengalami kesadaran baru melalui pergeseran kesadaran.
