Pemisahan Warna Karakter dan Background pada Animasi 2D “Point of View”
Abstract
Animation is a medium that can convey information with less text and less sound, animation itself has no limit, anything can be made, the limit is depend on the creativity of the artist itself. Color is one of important element in animation, the color can give an animation looks more believable and more real, other than that the color can give a different impression of psychological side for the audience. While by artists, color is often used to symbolize something in their works. This journal describes about experiment of color separation between character and background in 2D animation with suicidal content, titled Point of View. The color separation between character and background aims to create symbols that can visualize an emptiness.
